Family Motto Thee lift me and I'll lift thee and we will ascend together. “ Be happy. Let discouragement be a challenge, not a defeat; an opportunity & a privilege. Family Motto Thee lift me and I'll lift thee and we will ascend together. “ Be happy. Let discouragement be a challenge, not a defeat; an opportunity & a privilege. Kathy's husband passed away about a year ago, Annette's wanted to try out his new fishing pol...

Dear Family, This has been a week of glorious progress for both Wendell and me, total frustration in finding needed information for Wendell's military insurance, & feeling the joy of successes. It was about a one and a half an hour visit that was not rushed with a lot business. We mostly visited in his room, we played his harmonica, watched TV and then went to dinner together in the dining area of The Gables. The only business that I did was to get his Military Discharge Card from his wallet that I needed. He was happy to help with that. After dinner he said, “I'll walk you to the door. I can't go out with you. Do you know how to get out by yourself?” I...
