October 30, 2020 Dear Family,       Here we are again to share some fun and spirital things that influenced my life for good.  First   lets get acquainted with my very best friends  who gradually found their way into my life or I found them.  As I look back at how it all happened I am amazed and so grateful that Heavenly Father was guiding our lives for good and helping us "row our row boat around just for fun."   You have already met Joan Elliott, who was my partner in building that big air plane.  Yes, she looks older in this picture and yes, she was two or three years younger in that air plane adventure. Next to her is Pat Patten.  She moved into Provo just a little while before Jr. High school started and with a little bit of  encouragement became happy to do things with our fun group.  I think she looks like Al's wife, Shirley.  What do you think? Jane Farr brought new ideas into our little bunch of "first year "...

History of Mary Rosalie Swenson Christensen PART 7 Part 7 is full of Jems of our memories plus the colors of our beautiful flowers that Peggy brought in yesterday to beat the frost. These were given to us by Nancy Carver who is our neighborhood gardner.  Her gardens in front are perfectly kept as well as her streams of water and  gardens in her back yard.  She received the Brigham City  Award for these beautiful things three times already.  Who knows how many more timed she will merit them.   She is known in our neighborhood as the "Flower Lady."   And if we have a problem with our flowers or grass guess who we go to th get the answer.  Right, Nancy.  She reminds me of my Grandma Fugal who was recognized by that same name right  up to her passing on to Heaven where I am sure she is still known as "The Flower Lady."  Now lets look at the beauties that Peggy founed last night in our yard.  These roses are absolute...

I was very inquisitive from the time I could walk.  This time I wanted to see if this strange wheel would roll if I guided it.  I have to smile as I duplicate what I think I thought: "Ok now what do I do?  Just push and watch or push and follow? "  I imagine that I chose to push and watch because I was very smart.  And that was a wise thing to choose because I was not a fast runner.  So as it rolled round, & round for several times and then sat down beside me.  We were both happy.  So happy that I wanted to try it again, and again, and again.  I was so happy that I sat down on the step to contemplate what I had done.   I had made friends with that friendly wheel shaped thing.  I had learned how to be happy playing "Guess what I am going to do."  I had gotten myself so tired that I decided to just sit on the step and think about the fun I just had.  So here I am, happy as a little wheel learing how to roll....

Sept. 26, 2020 Our letter this week is to honor my Parents and My Grandmother Fugal.  I will start with my sweet Dad.   From the time that I knew he was my "DaDa" I had perfect trust in him.  When we rode his bicycle together he would talk to me about whatever fit my age from 6 months old to grade school.   Then I started to go Timpanogos Grade School in Provo.  We had moved there for Daddy's work teaching at the Dixon Jr. High school.  So after I got out of school I would stop in home at 614 West 4th North and visit with mother.  That was just across the street from my school.  Pretty nice don't you agree?  We had such fun visits.  She told me all kinds of stories about when she was a young girl and how she and daddy loved being in Boston. Then Daddy would come home humming or singing.  He loved to sing as well as play the violin.  So it was not suprising that He was called to lead the Choir in the Provo Third Ward....

MY EASTER FALLS DREAM

Image
October 1,2020 - So here we are in a new month and we have to decide what to do with it. Well, first I want to share with you the greatest fun we have had for ... I don't know how long. My dream of having the water fall that we started calling "Easter Falls" after I noticed it stated flowing about three or 5 days before Easter and stopped about that same number of days after Easter for several years. I decided to ask the state if it could be named Easter Falls permanentley. They said it was in Brigham City property now so we need to go through them.  We did that and that was the beginning of a great adventure of talking to Sister Jex at the  school to let her know we are ready to pick up the finished Easter Falls Picture.  Now we are really to alert everyone involved with making my dream come true. We began by making sure every one involved was envited to meet at the place where the picture of Easter Falls has been placed with it's big long pipe root burried six...
