BACK TO THE TEMPLE FOR ENDOWMENT SESSIONS

Image
Thursday, January 20, 2022 marked the day we have been waiting for since the Pandemic hit last year.  What a joy it was for us to return to the Temple. For me, Grandma Rosalie, the words were so familiar that I could say them quite well along with the presentations.  However the pictures were all totally new.  They were "still" shots of new poses using the same people.  I was totally captured during the whole presentation. Going through the veil was a bit of a challenge, but I made it with just one prompting.  That gives me hope for future sessions, which I look forward to and pray that Heavenly Father will grant me lots more time to attend the Temple Sessions that bring so much faith and understanding to me. Peggy was by my side the whole time, which was very comforting.  Her sweet spirit is strong. We sat together in the "pondering area" I call it, and continued to feel the sweet spirit the Temple Session brings.  Prayers of  joy, thanks, promis...

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2022

Image
To start the New year right Peggy made these beautiful rolls.  Great Grandma helped form them into cute bird balls and now we can see her painting melted butter on them.  Yum, yum.  That makes my mouth water.  How about yours? What a fun way to start the New year having a fun, funny, loving and surprising time with the Teddy, Britt, Glen, Fin, and Nora Royer Family!!! This is our bunch preparing to create a fun game.  From left to right Grandpa Royer, Glen, Fin, Peggy, Nora, Brit. & Teddy. Great Grandma Christensen joins them in the picture below. This was a totally new game for all of us, so it took a bit of learning to get it going.  But "doing" it was - Fun. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our attention turned to the "Player piano" that had been revived for us about 10 years ago by its new owner who repaired it for us.  But it will stay here until Great Grand...

Fun With Families for Christmas and New Years

Image
Yes, For sure Christmas and The New Year have come and gone.  So now we will enjoy seeing memories of those fun days in this happy Blog. I was going to take my hat off but someone forbade it because I think they said I looked better with it on than without it.  Well, I'm not sure if they were inferring to my sloppy hair-do  or charming smile, but as an obedient Grandma, I obeyed. So here we go!!!!!   Well what do you know, there is Peggy Royer, our famous cook, baker, and cookie maker.  Her last name tells she is qualified to cook for "Royalty."  So you all may consider yourself  Kings, Queens, Prince and Princesses.   Just look at those beautiful cookies that she has made for us already.  There is only one problem with them: they must be guarded carefully or they will disappear.  Sooo Beware!  Lest you be caught in the  act and thrown into the Dungeon.  But do not cry because you will definitely get your share. ...
