A WEEK TO REMEMBER PART 2

CHRIS AND GRACE MOW THE LAWN

Grace had never mowed our lawn before with our lawn mower so Chris was teaching her.  These are some of the fun pictures that showed his patience with her and her patience with him and how they had a good sense of humor.

Step #1 -

   Step #2

         Step #3 she took off.

GRACE POLISHED THE GOOSE THAT LAID THE GOLDEN EGG

It looked really sad when she first saw it sitting on the floor in our living room and I asked her if she would like to polish it.  With a "not to sure" sound to her voice, "Yes."  So the fun began.  I gave her the polishing powder with the instructions to moisten the cloth I gave her to give the bird a good rub.  This she did and after a couple of resting periods she was pleased to invite me to see her handiwork.

This is what it looked like sitting on the kitchen counter.

This is how it looks after we worked together to wash little lines of white in the crevices and bolted the eggs back on.  .......................................

This is Grace holding the rag & metal skewer that we used to get in the cracks................
see how happy she is!

That's me to the left.  I think I am more happy because it is one of my prize decorations.

DINNER AT MARK AND KAMI'S HOME IN MANTUA

Grandma Rosalie, Emery & Grandpa Wendell as she shares her game with us.
Mike, Taylor, Grandpa and Mark get to see the air planes Taylor made from a book of pictures and instructions that Mark gave him.

Here is Taylor holding the book.

                            Taylor gives Grandpa a hug.

Debby & Kami enjoy a little visit while grandpa visits in the opposite direction.

Emery, Grace and Collin play together in Emery and Aubrey's bedroom.

Aubrey and Grandpa visit.

Everyone had a wonderful visit, dinner, snow storm for a little while, and just being together.  We felt bad that Chris had to work that day even though it was on Sunday.  So he had to stay home with his computer.  That's all for this time.
We feel so blessed and thank Heavenly father for all of you every day as well as asking him to protect you and bless you with those things that he, in his all knowledge and wisdom, knows that you need.  We love all of you more than the universe can hold,  Gr. & Gr. Christensen.
