PROGRESS
Progress this week for our family is the bringing together the final plans for our family reunion. We are still following our Family Motto. "Thee Lift Me & I'll Lift Thee....." and as Julie says, "It won't be long until we will all be together."
In Elder Dale G. Renlund's conference talk, Family History and Temple Work: Sealing and Healing, he said, "When we gather our family histories and go to the temple on behalf of our ancestors, God fulfills promised blessings simultaneously on both sides of the veil."
This is going to be an important part of our reunion this year. We are really excited for this to happen and can hardly wait for that moment when we will be able to gather together in the Logan temple to do the work for many of our very own ancestors. Just think, we will be doing baptisms, confirmations, sealings spouses to each other and children to their parents. Imagine the happiness that will be taking place on the other side of the veil.

Other points of PROGRESS around our daughters' home town:
The High School has removed all the tennis courts and replaced them with new bleachers that has a reviewing stand at the top. They are still working on the surrounding area and we as observers don't know how it will all turn out. Will they put in more tennis courts? Or what other grand additions will they make?
Wendy and Grandpa are happy that he can now walk easily sitting in his wheelchair. They even had a a wheelchair race and grandpa won. It looks like they were both happy about that. Laughter is truly the best medicine.

The tabernacle is now officially finished with the refurbishing of the spire and that part of the building. The scaffolding was taken down a few days ago. It is again beautiful in it's original form.
OOOPS, I just noticed I got the rearview mirror in the picture too. I had scooted over in the seat to take the picture from the window because I didn't want to get out of the car on the busy road.
So Grandpa and I send our love as our own "progress" continues and our love grows. Love to all. Gr. & Gr. C.
