FAMILYS CAN BE TOGETHER FOREVER

GRANDMA CHRISTENSEN loves her Asparagus garden.  But it does take extra care.  Lots of water - like 15 minutes every day, let them grow 4 years before starting to cut them, when you do start make sure they are at least 5 inches tall at the first cutting.

Watch carefully each day for those that finish maturing over night.  However be sure every one you cut is tall enough.  Keep them fresh in the refrigerator until you have enough for a serving.  Then cook them according to your favorite recipe.

I like to grow them in a Grow Box. It is much easier that way.  Just remember to use enough of the best soil you can get.  Keep them watered well, however not overdone.

Tip: If  you live near a stream of nice clean water you can harvest them there if it is public property.  We did that when there was a clean stream coming down the mountain.

Enjoy

These are very special pictures provided by Noel and David's Family when they went  up all by themselves.  We did find them with Binoculars which was fun-like finding a needle in a haystack.  That is Steven in the yellow T-Shirt.

Inside the sign are items to purchase about Easter  Falls.

From this view you can see what the entrance to Easter Falls looks from higher up.  you can make pictures,

NOW WE ARE JUST BELOW WHERE WE CAN SEE THE PAINED "B."tHERE

There was a sweet Family who came to visit Grandma Rosalie and aunt Peggy.  They live far far away in a land called "Back East."  Now they are here and need to get there so they have made their
plans to have both fun and back home on time with great care.

Right now you can see Jessica, about a foot in the air, William and Steven on the giant Trampoline ready bounce until one of them falls.

Here they go!  Jump and bounce, jump and bounce, how many times I do not know, but I do know the right answer - "until they all fell down."

Now what do you suppose Noel & David, their parents were saying to their jumping children?  What do their faces say?  Something mighty sweet and kind and proud, don't you think?  Indeed!  And the children are proud of their parents too.  Their Dad has graduated from more than one university in several different subjects while their Mom has been majoring in Child Psychology.  No wonder they have such a happy, obedient family.

They even know about the Reward System !!!

That is why everyone here is truly happy!  Left to right: Mary, Noel and Jessica.  I am sure they are remembering the rewards.  And I am sure they were the ones who chose them.  I caught a glimpse of them in the kitchen when I passed there a while ago and I would go for them too.

I am not saying that my grandchildren are perfect,; only that they are ALMOST there.

Noel can do it too.  That is incredible and a great example for their family.  All we can say to our surprise is, At first I didn't recognize you. KEEP IT UP NOEL & SHOW EVERYONE HOW IT IS DONE.

Jessica starting to master the handstand with Noel helping.  Dad is ready to catch her if she falls.  This is one trick that takes hours and hours to perfect.

We were watching this done by a college student a few months ago who had done it perfectly in warm ups and then missed it in the performance.  That was heart breaking for her, her coaches and her parents.  So one can never tell for sure what the performance will bring.  If I remember right,  that the judges voted to give her the winning score.  But that does NOT always happen.

Noel's Mary.  She is going for the hardest stand with Noel is helping her.  Note her attire is made for anything in a presentation.  Yea for her!

We are impressed with everyone's performance and wish your whole family the best of times in your presentations.

Mom and Dad - Noel & David -, she knows how to keep him happy.

Mom & Dad in back - they did wake up after all.
Jessica, Grandma Christensen & Mary.
Steven - white shirt - front row.
William -with glasses - front row.

Peggy and Grandma Christensen have had a great time watching how you all enjoy enjoying each other!  We would welcome a visit from you all any time.  We would even supply the food and another hike to Easter Falls.  How is that for an invitation?

Julie took these lovely flowers to the cemetery to Wendell's grave for Memorial Day.  That was a tender feeling for us since couldn't go at that time.  A big "THANK YOU JULIE!  YOU ARE AN ANGEL!"  And Monte too if he went with you.  Tons of love Peggy & Mom.
