Be Happy: LET DISCOURAGEMENT BE A CHALLENGE NOT A DEFEAT.
" Trust in the Lord with all thy heart and lean not to thy own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy path." This Quotation has stood on my dresser in my bedroom for many years. It has helped me through many hard decisions.
The other quote that has influenced my life is: "Let not your heart be troubled, Neither let it be afraid; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy path."
As we drive by the temple to feel the spirit that comes from it we also feel the strength it gives us to carry on in doing The Lord's work, be it ever so much less than it used to be. Still we will be ready to go more often when it is opened 100%.
Brigham City Utah Temple
We love to drive in the evening to park in the parking lot of this beautiful temple to feel the Spirit there. Also to watch and wave to those people coming out of the temple or going in. They always have such sweet expressions on their faces and the couples are usually holding hands. We wonder, are they "just married"? or just about to get married?
Sometimes they will stop and talk a bit, which is a very special spiritual time for them and for us. It always brings back happy memories of our Wedding Day. What a nice gift from our Heavenly Father.
Sunset in Western Sky of Brigham City. A gift from Heavenly Father. However he makes us work for it a bit to find a parking spot in which to see it. That little pink ball is really huge for it is the sun and the white mark on it we think is a reflection from the sky. It is well worth the drive and the hunting to find a good spot to take the picture. Also when we drive into the parking area we are greeted with surprise of many cars parked to Play "Pickle Ball" which Bruce and Peggy love to play.

Noel, David, Jessica, Grandma Christensen, Mary, William & Stephen. We enjoyed an especially sweet visit from them - watching them perform on the trampoline, keeping track of them as they hiked up the mountain, and of course, eating.
Look who made it to the "B" for Box Elder High School! David, William, Jessica & Steven. Wow what strong, brave, determined and now HAPPY hikers those Gomillions are.
If you look very closely you will see animals among the rocks - both near and far. You could have a great contest to spot them.
Now this Blog is over, night is drawing nigh, Wendy has dinner almost ready & then off she will fly. To reach her home in Washington so very far away, to which she did invite me, just this very day. My only consolation is just this: Cindy is on her way.
Tons of Love, Grandma/Great Grandma Christensen.
