Winter WORK AND FUN Again

Remember the song "lET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW"?  That is exactly what it did for us on this beautiful day. What a invigorating background for our lounging chairs, flowers in front of the window and the car & house across the street.
Such wonderful, beautiful vigorous days the snow gift brought to us.  So we want to thank our Heavenly Father for knowing how to make it and send it safely to us.

The trees and shrubs are breathing "Thanks" for the snow, also  we do believe.

And  the cleared white walkway looks as safe as walking on dry ground.

That puff of cloud in the sky deceives us into thinking that it is going to be a lovely clear day, when actually there are more clouds behind that one and the sun may be totally hidden.  Who knows?  Do you?  Really only Heavenly Father knows, so we will wait and see.

Meanwhile, lets see what is happening with our great snow shoveler, Peggy Royer.  I wonder where she could be.

Oh, There she is, standing ready to start her snow removing job.  She told me that she could hardly wait to get out in that beautiful white stuff and send it flying.  Do any of you want to give it a try?  I do.  It looks so fun to be in control of the snow. OK lets go --- One, two, three,,,Toss!

Look, she fooled us and shoveled out into the snow to get in front of the plants in front of the poarch.  Now she can go clear out to the road - back and forth until her job is done.

What do you  know, There is Grandma Rosalie tossing a lovely handful of bread out for the ducks to enjoy.  She is also enjoying chattering to them at the same time.  It is good that she knows bird talk.

See what I mean?  She calls and they come.  BIG SMILE FROM BOTH OF US.

OH BOY, here come other beautiful hungry beauties!  They look so happy that I just about want to jump in with them.  When the weather warms up I think I would like to try it.  Want to join me?

The Matt and Sarah Pierce family visited us.  From Grandma Rosalie dressed in pink, Matthew on her right, then Sara & Calvin with his girl friend at the right of him, and Dallin making our circle complete.  We enjoyed a sweet visit hearing about their travels & most especially about the concerts the chorus Sarah sings with every year.  I would really like to hear them again.  Maybe some time when THAT STUPID COVID stops spoiling the beautiful things in our world.          .

Even in the Winter "We Love to see the temple, we are going again some day," when we can get a reservation.

That is Grandma Rosalie sitting on the bench by the waterfall  I love to hear it and know that inside the Temple the work of the Lord is being done.

This is Peggy enjoying the song the fountain sings also.  She is such a help and guide to me when we are able to attend a temple session.  We love the sweet spirit that is always inside that beautiful House of the Lord.  And we will be so glad and grateful when we can attend the temple whenever we want to.

Here is our blessed temple standing in all it's pure glory as the "House of the Lord," wherein we may find and be be blessed with all the blessings that He can give us, according to our worthiness.  So our goal is to be worthy in every way.  And we know we need to get all the help we can from Heavenly Father to accomplish that beautiful Celestial goal.

Here we are for two more glimpses at our beautiful duck friends enjoying their home....and

being fed their favorite food by Great Grandma Christensen who loves to make them happy.

This day we brought my "walker" and walked all the way around the lake.  About a mile, I figured.  Peggy figures a little less, and she is probably right.

So long for now.  Lots of love, Great Grandma Christensen, Peggy & Bruce Royer
