Image
...and still smiling!  Monday - March 15, 2021  This month we celebrate 11 family birthdays : Grandma Rosalie Christensen 90 years old - March 11, 1931, Kami Dupree - March 19, Frank Dupree - March 1, Cindy Barlow -March 8, Jason Mott - March 14. Quintin Pierce - March 8th.  MayLynn Allen - March 8.  Fin. Royer March 3,  Mary Royer - March 28. Eli Mott - March 10 - Jacob Mott, March 21 My daughters asked their families to send one word that would describe Grandma Christensen for them.  Peggy took the words and put them into "word art."  This was the families gift to me for my 90th Birthday.  We hung them up on the wall for us to see. I--- Grandma, was amazed at this description of me.  And after thinking about how I hope to become all those things, I decided that I can make you all a promise that, even if it takes forever I will not stop trying.  Is that an OK deal with all of you?  Please reply! I love you all so much!!!!...

FUN WITH GRANDCHILDREN AND GREAT GRANDCHILDREN

Dear Family,  We hope you all have fun with this month's Blog.  Peggy, Bruce and I, Grandma Christensen, love the times we spend together.  And you know that we love to take pictures!  Only one thing could have been nicer for this, Emily's 25th Birthday Party  & family get together = having everyone in the family there.  But we all know that is almost impossible, so we will be happy with what we can get. Now for the fun stuff: In this darling picture are Teddy, Brit, Grandma Peggy, Nora, Grandma Christensen, Finn, & Glen.   What a great family to start with!  Or to end with.  That might be determined by how Teddy does with his new "at home" super talent for making special kinds of knives and other metal things which is a fine hobby.  What is the saying?, "Life is full of a number of things .... that could make us all be happy as kings."  Maybe your knives will bring you that blessing.  Although you all look l...

Monday January 18, 2021 Happy New Year to everyone!!!    Christmas has gone "by" "by", but the memories are still warm in our minds and heats. In this picture I am enjoying one of the famous New Years drinks to wish for a "Happy New Year!"  And so what if  that was already several days past, lets do it again.  "HAPPY NEW YEAR!" Yes, now we are ready to greet one another with January expectations read Tell all your family that you love them. Print the Maze below.    Find the church    Go to the church    Write your first name in the church block.   You will need to find the path from your house to the church, and also for the young boy at the corner of the house below.   Grandma doing her pulling the exercise bands.  Peggy is her coach. She does two sets of 50 pulls each day.  I am glad I don't have to keep going as long as this picture is going.   Yea Grandma !!! Step 2: Walk down the hall, aro...

December 2020 Dear Family, This is the view of our home during the Christmas Season.  Grandpa and I made it many years ago.  It has put the true Spirit of Christmas there for us to remember and share with all those who drive past our house.   This year Peggy and Bruce put it up and placed the lights so perfectly.  Truly each time I look at it my heart feels that tender love of my Savior and gratefulness for His many blessings to me.  I hope as you look at it you also get that feeling too.                         Look at the pictures below: Here is the challenge for your whole family to do: Just find your own family and name them right true. Then look at the other families with love in your eyes. Put their last name exactly. You can have many tries. Then when you have finished send your answers to me, Your very own Grandma, and for sure you will see. That your efforts were all worth you...

December and Christmas letter 2020

December 2020 Merry Christmas to all our Sweet Family and happy times before that big fun day.  I know it will be a precious, happy time when you can  come to Brigham City again. First I will introduce you to my little soft cuddly friends that keep me company when I go to bed. The brown and black and white one is for Ronald Kay Swenson (my brother's name) and the pink one is for Mary Rosalie Swenson Christensen (that's me.)  During the day they sit like they are in the picture.  At night Rosalie snuggles in Mary Rosalie's arms.  The meals for our family are planned and prepared by Peggy.  She is amazing at turning out the most delicious 3 meals a day plus Birthday Dinners, laundry, clean the house and wash the dishes - I help with the dishes when I can & Bruce helps too when needed or volunteers.  His big job is to keep the cars and stoves, dish washers and washing machines & dryers  in good shape. We three get our daily exercis...
