Here we see a picture of Vida Leone Fugal Swenson in the prime of life, having held most of the positions a woman could hold in those days and doing a full fledged job of each of them: Relief Society President, Teacher, Visiting Teacher, and Grade School teacher. It is The Angel's Halo that tells the story is her Halo of recognition. I noticed this a couple of weeks ago when I was working in my computer room. She sang in the ward choir that Alfred directed for 30 years. The choir members loved him so much that each time he told them he thought he should let someone else enjoy that calling and retires. They would not accept that retirement because he, not only was a perfect teacher, but taught with a loving heart with tender directions and corrections.
